PM-Ecologist

NCS is an ecological restoration firm based in Northville & West Bloomfield, MI. We are seeking a skilled and motivated Project Manager / Ecologist to lead ecological restoration projects, manage client relationships, and oversee both field and office operations.

This role is ideal for a professional with a strong foundation in ecological restoration, project coordination, and data integration, who thrives in a collaborative mission-driven environment. As a small and dynamic firm, NCS values adaptability and expects team members to wear multiple hats to meet the requirements of a diverse project portfolio that evolves with the seasons.

Role Description

This is a full-time hybrid role for a PM-Ecologist based in Northville, MI, with some flexibility for work-from-home (typically Mondays or Fridays). The PM-Ecologist will be responsible for coordinating and expediting ecological restoration project activities, conducting inspections, and managing logistics.

Key Responsibilities :

• Coordinate and expedite ecological restoration project activities
• Conduct inspections and manage logistics
• Ensure the successful completion of environmental projects by overseeing project timelines, budgets, and resources
• Data collection / analysis, vegetation / soils / hydrology assessments, site work inspections and mapping, bidding / proposal writing, staff leadership, collaboration with stakeholders, preparing reports, and ensuring compliance with construction documents
