About The Position

Job Title : Occupational Therapist

Profession : Therapy / Rehabilitation

Hours per Shift : 8

Experience : Minimum of 1 year with adult and pediatric outpatient, autism, learning disabilities, and neurodevelopmental treatments

License : State licensure required

Certifications : COVID-19 vaccine required; medical / religious exemptions only; flu vaccine status unknown

Must-Have :

Comfortable with pediatric evaluations and adult neuro

Skills in cognitive assessment, electrical stimulation, kinesiotaping, splinting, home exercise program, lifting and transfer, patient / family education, and safety and injury prevention

Description :

First-time travelers accepted.

Responsible for conducting evaluations and treatment planning for both pediatric and adult patients.

Incorporate evidence-based practice into treatment interventions.

Provide patient and family education to promote understanding of diagnoses and treatment.

Assess cognitive functioning and implement appropriate interventions.

Utilize techniques such as electrical stimulation and kinesiotaping as needed.

Develop individualized home exercise programs to enhance patient progress.

Ensure safety and injury prevention measures are implemented in all settings.

Maintain accurate documentation of patient progress and treatment outcomes.
