A company is looking for an Assistant Editor, Manga.

Key Responsibilities

Assist in the localization and production of manga for English-language readers

Execute editorial duties to ensure quality, accuracy, and consistency

Hire and manage freelance teams for translation and production tasks

Required Qualifications

Excellent English-language writing skills with samples required

Aptitude in written Japanese, minimum JLPT N5 level

Previous professional editorial experience preferred

Strong interest in anime, manga, or video games

Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and Microsoft Office 365 Suite or ability to learn
