About The Position

Job Title : Registered Nurse

Hours per Shift : 12.5 hours (7 : 00 PM - 7 : 30 AM); Weekend & Holiday Rotation

Must-Have :

• Experience in Skilled Nursing and Long Term Care
• Knowledge of established nursing policies and procedures

Description :

We are seeking an experienced RN for our Skilled Nursing units.

The candidate must have a current RN License and CPR certification.

Opportunities are available to pick up additional hours.

The RN will provide quality patient care by performing treatments and procedures according to established protocols.

The RN will observe patients and report adverse reactions to medication or treatment.

The RN will administer specified medications as allowed by policy and procedure, licensure, and State Practice Act.

The RN will respond in a safe and timely manner to patient requests and report significant observations promptly.

The RN should demonstrate knowledge of the patient's plan of care and deliver care safely within established standards and guidelines.

The RN will participate in planning for patient care by providing input and assisting in implementing the patient care plan under the direction of the RN.

The RN should identify emergency situations, initiate nursing measures as appropriate within scope of practice, and seek assistance and direction as necessary.

The RN will instruct patients in self-care according to the teaching plan and the directions provided.

The RN will document this aspect of the patient's care.

Holiday coverage is required.
