Role Definition

This position will lead Six Sigma Continuous Product Improvement (CPI) & Factory Operations (Ops) improvement projects within Drivetrain (Torque Convertors, Transmissions, Axles, Final Drives, Electric Drive, & CVTs) across a broad range of Caterpillar machines & facilities. Work towards a large reduction in customer defects & bottom-line warranty expense while improving Operations' cost, quality, & throughput.

Responsibilities

• Manage approximately 12-14 CPI / OPS projects (majority focus on operations) across various stages of implementation, lead regular cross functional team meetings or workshops to define the problem, create a project plan, implement immediate customer containment actions, identify & investigate issue root causes, facilitate solution(s) creation, validation, and implementation.
• Work throughout the value streams collaborating on-site w / Operations, Operations Quality, Engineering, & Drivetrain Quality to lead Ops improvement projects.
• Participate in regular Obeyas (Quality Reviews) and escalate appropriately when encountering roadblocks.

Summary Pay Range : $126,000.00 - $189,000.00 Compensation and benefits offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, job level, market location, job-related knowledge, skills, individual performance and experience. Please note that salary is only one component of total compensation at Caterpillar.
