Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced ICU RN with a compact or TN license and current AHA certifications for a night shift assignment.

Responsibilities

Work in the ICU of a hospital setting with possible float to PCU and occasional med-surg as needed

Night shifts available with schedules of 3x12 or 4x12 hours (18 : 30–7 : 00)

Four weekend shifts required per schedule period

No on-call responsibilities

General orientation begins on Sundays with online CBLs

All travelers must reside at least 100 miles from the facility

Participate in clinical education and support of nursing students in addition to clinical duties

Team members may be required to complete 16 hours of nonbillable orientation, including 4-5 hours of online modules

Shift cancellations may occur once biweekly due to census changes without penalty

International travelers must hold a BSN degree

Scrub or dress code details will be provided during orientation

Requirements

Active TN or compact RN license in hand at time of consideration

Minimum of 1 year of recent ICU nursing experience

Current AHA certifications in BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS

Willingness to complete lab drug testing 12-14 days prior to start

Facial hair must comply with CDC fit testing guidelines

First-time travelers accepted
