Senior Accountant

We are looking for an experienced Senior Accountant to join our team in Westborough, Massachusetts. In this long-term contract position, you will play a pivotal role in managing financial processes, ensuring accuracy in reporting, and contributing to the success of our operations. The role offers the opportunity to work fully on-site with a flexible schedule.

Responsibilities :

Prepare and post journal entries to ensure accurate financial records.

Manage the month-end closing process, adhering to a three-day deadline.

Review and maintain the general ledger for completeness and accuracy.

Reconcile accounts and perform detailed account analysis to support financial reporting.

Conduct bank reconciliations to ensure accuracy in cash flow management.

Utilize ERP software to streamline accounting processes and data management.

Collaborate with team members to analyze and resolve discrepancies in financial data.

Generate and review reports using Excel for financial planning and decision-making.

Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards in all tasks.

Provide support and insights for audits and other financial reviews.

Requirements :

Proven experience in month-end close activities and financial reporting.

Strong knowledge of general ledger management and journal entries.

Proficiency in account reconciliation and bank reconciliation processes.

Hands-on experience with ERP systems.

Advanced skills in Excel and familiarity with reporting tools.

Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.

Ability to work on-site in Westborough, Massachusetts.

Solid understanding of accounting principles and compliance standards.
