Senior Transactional Liability Underwriter
The Senior Transactional Liability Underwriter is responsible for underwriting complex transactions, identifying growth opportunities, proposing initiatives for risk mitigation, and ensuring accurate entries in connection with M&A transactions. The role monitors regulatory changes and cultivates a collaborative environment by providing guidance to underwriters. They provide actionable insights to senior management, implement quality assurance measures, and navigate complex legal landscapes by leveraging understanding of warranties & indemnity, tax & contingence insurance.
Job Responsibilities :
Work Experience and Education : Bachelor's degree required, Master's degree preferred; Business Administration, Finance, and Risk Management preferred. Any other related discipline or commensurate work experience considered. 5+ years of work experience in M&A or Financial Underwriting with a Bachelor's degree or 3 years of work experience with a Master's degree.
Licenses & Certifications : State P&C and / or surplus line license is required. Certified Insurance Service Representative (CISR), Certified Merger and Acquisition Advisor (CM&AA) a plus.

The target salary range for this position is $200,000.00 - $250,000.00 annually. The wage range for this role considers many factors, such as training, transferable skills, work experience, licensure and certification, business needs, and market demands. The pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future. Full-time roles are eligible for bonuses and benefits.
