• Work Friday through Sunday, 8 : 00 AM to 8 : 30 PM
• Three 12-hour shifts per week
• No on-call responsibilities required
• Perform technical procedures and assist in clinical evaluation of patients in Level I Trauma and Academic Medical Center
• Create diagnostic images using CT scan technology
• Perform CT exams on outpatients, inpatients (stable and intensive care), research patients, and those requiring specialized CT scan-guided procedures
• Support teaching and continue learning as technology advances
• Practice and enforce radiation safety measures per New York State Department of Health code part 16
• Must be graduate of approved two-year AMA Radiologic Technology School and high school graduate
• New York State Registration in Diagnostic Radiography or limited permit to practice in New York required
• American Registry of Radiologic Technologists registration required
• Current BLS for Healthcare Provider, CPR or CPR / AED for Professional Rescuer certification required
• ARRT (CT) verification required upon submission
