This role is an armed Patrol position in Denver, CO.

What You'll Do

  • Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
  • Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
  • Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
  • Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
  • Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner
  • Conduct regular and random armed patrols around the location and its perimeter to deter unauthorized activity
  • Monitor for unusual or suspicious activity within the utilities environment and report findings as required
  • Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, visitors, and team members while upholding Allied Universal standards
  • Assist in controlling access to restricted areas within the utilities location
  • Document incidents, observations, and actions taken during patrols and / or emergency situations

  • Reliability and ability to adapt to different post assignments
  • A desire to gain broad experience and grow within the company
  • Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available

    • Minimum Requirements

  • Have at least 1 year of experience in armed security-related, law enforcement, and / or military roles
  • Be at least 21 years of age
  • Possess a valid driver's license in the state where the job is located and meet Allied Universal driver policy requirements
  • A Guard Card or license is preferred
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only
