Experience communicating with vendors and customers. Four-year Bachelors degree or equivalent experience. Knowledge of electrical products and lighting controls preferred. Valid drivers license required. Ability to perform manual labor, including but not limited to, carrying and climbing ladders, lifting to 30lbs, and regularly bend, stoop, lift and twist. Standing up to 12 hours per day. 90% travel. The Lighting Auditor will typically fly out Monday morning and return home Friday afternoon, documenting anywhere from 3-12 sites each week. Potential Relocation. Autonomy to plan their own flights and hotel accommodations, most expenses are covered during the week, and all points and credit card perks are owned by the Lighting Project Auditor. Ability to complete off-shift work. Utilize personal credit of up to $6,000 for expenses to be reimbursed. This position requires a standard 5-panel pre-employment drug test due to being a safety-sensitive role. 3 weeks of paid time off and 8 company paid holidays per year. Competitive health care plan. Job Summary :
This position travels nationwide, 90% of the time, to job-sites to perform lighting audits. The Lighting Auditor position is responsible for the examination and analysis of EMCs lighting and electrical surveys. They are responsible for documenting existing conditions as it relates to lighting, lighting controls, and general electrical systems. The Lighting Auditor is held accountable for proper documentation, survey accuracy, overall quality, and adherence to their schedule and budgets.
Essential Job Functions :
- Perform audit process by following audit scope requirements.
- Prepare detailed audit reports summarizing audit results using provided templates.
- Provide high level of communication between EMC Audit Management and EMC Solutions Managers.
- Scheduling and coordination of audit trips.
- Manage expenses during business travel.
- Maintain accurate account of audit schedules / status in master spreadsheets.
- Attend training programs as required.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
