Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A Special Education teaching opportunity is available for a dedicated professional to support students in grades 6 through 12 in a K-12 school setting. This full-time, contract-to-hire position offers a structured Monday through Friday schedule, 8 AM to 4 PM, following the school calendar.
The role involves managing a caseload of 8-12 students, with some smaller classes ranging from 4-5 students due to the diverse course offerings such as Vocational Agriculture, Woodworking, Physical Education, Art, Music, Business Education, Technology, Science, Social Studies, Mathematics, English, and Special Education. The ideal candidate will be proficient in Individualized Education Program (IEP) development and have strong skills in relationship-building to effectively support students facing mental health challenges.
