Life Enrichment Assistant (Part-Time)

The Orchards Michigan, located in Armada, MI, is currently seeking a Life Enrichment Assistant to join our team.

Life Enrichment Assistant Duties and Responsibilities :

Assist in planning and leading group and individual activities for residents

Encourage participation and engagement to support residents’ social, physical, and emotional well-being

Help set up and clean up activity areas and materials

Provide support during outings, special events, and holiday celebrations

Document resident participation and provide feedback to the Life Enrichment Director

Support residents one-on-one as needed to ensure inclusion in programs

Life Enrichment Assistant Qualifications and Skills :

Patience, compassion, and enthusiasm when working with residents

Ability to communicate effectively with residents, families, and team members

Creativity and energy to make activities meaningful and enjoyable

Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

Ability to follow scheduled programs and adapt to residents’ needs

Physical ability to assist with activities, transport residents to and from programs, and support occasional lifting / moving of supplies
