CONTENT STRATEGIST - (REMOTE FIRST OPPORTUNITY)
Our healthcare strategy and marketing firm offers an excellent opportunity for a Content Strategist to research, plan, and write scientific and medical content for promotional materials aimed at patients, providers, and the allied health community.
The Position
The successful candidate will :
- Assist accounts in developing core brand strategies, including positioning, messaging, and overall strategic direction.
- Research, write, and develop scientific and medical content for various promotional resources, evaluate supporting documentation, and organize references.
- Provide direction for writers by producing outlines or drafts on technical or clinical topics, and conduct literature searches.
- Partner with accounts on client communications as needed.
- Create content plans, outlines, and drafts for campaigns or strategic pieces.
- Draft slide presentations for review and refinement.
- Ensure accuracy and completeness of all scientific and clinical content.
- Provide feedback to art directors to ensure imagery is scientifically accurate and on message.
- Lead literature searches and collaborate with analytics teams as needed.
- Address agency or client questions through research.
- Participate in project meetings and monitor project budgets and timelines.
- Communicate issues promptly and keep supervisors informed.
- Contribute to client relationships and maintain documentation.
- Attend status meetings and participate in special projects as required.
The Person
We seek a smart, creative individual with a knack for big-picture insights and attention to detail. The ideal candidate will have :
Required
Bachelor's degree in a science-related field or equivalent experience.2+ years in content strategy development, with over 1 year in a medical communications agency preferred.Strong scientific foundation and ability to quickly learn about therapies and therapeutic areas.Excellent communication skills, both oral and written.Ability to craft compelling stories from diverse information sources.Teamwork skills and initiative to contribute to cross-functional teams.Knowledge of the healthcare industry.Experience in writing and editing promotional materials.Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.Detail-oriented with a passion for making clinical material engaging.Preferred
Advanced degrees (Masters, PhD, PharmD, MD) or equivalent experience.Familiarity with FDA, DDMAC, and PhARMA guidelines.Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially PowerPoint.Working Environment
