This position reports to :

Operations Manager - Southwest Die Cast

Your role and responsibilities :

Provides strategic direction and leadership for the Manufacturing Engineering and Maintenance departments. Plans, budgets, and implements capital investment projects. Supports a continuous improvement culture that promotes safety, teamwork, and open communications within all levels of the organization. Partner with key leadership and plant personnel to assess current processes and identify process improvement opportunities.

The work model for the role is : Onsite

You will be mainly accountable for :

• Direct and develop employees within Manufacturing Engineering and Maintenance departments while supporting safety as the top priority in training, job design, ergonomics and regulatory compliance.
• Project management leadership from conception through production release, providing complete solutions for manufacturing improvements, including capital justification, equipment selection, tooling & programming, documentation, and training.
• Work within a team environment to promote Lean Manufacturing, providing leadership in support of Kaizen events based on TPS, TPM, and 6 Sigma methodologies, implementing improvements to reduce costs, improve quality, and reduce process time.
• Collaborate with multiple teams. Collecting, organizing, analyzing and applying data and customer feedback to drive focused continuous improvement activities and ensure best practices are shared across the organization.

Qualifications for the role :

Bachelor's Degree in Engineering with minimum 8 years experience with processes related to manufacturing, tooling, and gauging methods.
