Registered Nurse - Oncology -

Required Certifications : RN : BLS and chemo certification for infusion clinic (ONS Chemo certification required)

OCN preferred, but not required

Required Education : RN : Completion of a nursing education program that is approved by a board of nursing; Registered Nurse (RN) - South Dakota Board of Nursing

Minimum Experience : 1.5 years of nursing experience system requirement

Will you accept a first-time traveler? Yes

Travelers must live >

100 miles away from facility

Permanent staff must wait 1 full year to return as a traveler

Patient Types : Medical Oncology / Chemotherapy Infusion

Skills required : RN : Chemotherapy infusion, Chart checks, Rooming patients : VS, weight, Review of systems check, medication reconciliation

Support on the Unit : CA Charge nurse : Yes, Resource Nurse : Yes, Physician and ARNP in clinic

Charting System / Equipment : Epic, Med Dispensing : Omnicell

Floating : No

Orientation : (facility and unit) In department at CCI-Rapid City

Scheduling : Weekend rotation : No

Will they be on call? No
