American Traveler is seeking an experienced MRI Technologist proficient with Siemens MRI equipment and EPIC for a day shift assignment in a state-of-the-art outpatient oncology center.
\n \n Responsibilities\n
Outpatient oncology imaging center with newly installed technologyPatient population ranges from neonates to geriatricsMRI procedures include abdomen, pelvis, head / neck, chest, spine, musculoskeletal, diffusion, and perfusion imagingRotating schedule with primary shifts of four 10-hour days from 8 : 30 AM to 7 : 00 PM, occasional five 8-hour shifts from 8 : 30 AM to 5 : 00 PM for coveragePosition requires operation of Siemens MRI scanners, as well as performing IV starts and using EPIC and PACS systemsKey responsibilities include patient screening for MRI safety, obtaining vitals, chart review, and collaborating on diagnoses and care plansMust adhere to strict imaging safety protocols and contribute to a clean, organized work environmentAll candidates must comply with urgent fingerprinting requirements as communicated post-offerLocals are accepted at the same rate as travelersFormer employees may return after a 6-month break; current employees at Ohio State University hospitals are ineligibleRequested time off must be submitted with your application and built into the contractStandard RTO, work history, and credentialing processes apply\n \n Requirements\n
Minimum 1 year experience as an MRI Technologist in an outpatient or hospital settingCurrent BLS and ARRT certification required; advanced ARRT certification preferredProficiency with Siemens MRI equipment and the EPIC documentation system requiredSkilled in IV starts, phlebotomy, contrast administration, and all standard MRI protocolsAbility to perform and interpret advanced MRI techniques such as gradient echo, spin echo, T-1 and T-2 weighted imagesMust provide two professional references, with at least one from a manager, director, or charge RN; coworker references not acceptedAbility to travel promptly for Ohio fingerprinting is required for considerationLicense required if applicable\n Benefits\n
