Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner Supervisor

Job Description

ProSource Talent is actively seeking an Psychiatric Advanced Practice Nurse for our Brand NEW Program.

ProSource Talent requires all interested applicants have experience working in a psychiatric setting, treating severely mentally ill patients, to include detox.

Shift : 3x12 hour + one 1 / 2 Day (4 hour) Day Shift Monday-Friday with a weekend rotation.

Compensation : Applicants must be okay with the specified compensation range. Salary will not exceed the range listed and will be based on a combination of years of experience and education / certifications.

Qualifications :

• Must have experience supervising a team of Registered Nurses & Nurse Practitioners
• ANCC certification in psychiatry
• Current New Jersey License

Responsibilities

Conduct comprehensive patient assessments to develop individualized care plans.

Administer medications and treatments, including IV insertion, while monitoring patient responses.

Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Maintain accurate electronic health records (EHR) and document patient progress.

Provide education and support to patients and families regarding treatment options and health management.

Ensure adherence to safety protocols and best practices in patient care.
