PRIVILEGES & COMPLIANCE

Hospital Privileges Required : Yes

Credentialing Timeline : days (fingerprinting required; typically 48 hours to post)

Orientation : 4 hours, non-billable

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Licenses : Active Minnesota license (Required)

Board : Board Certified in Emergency Medicine (Required)

DEA : Required

Certifications : ACLS, PALS, ATLS or CALS (Required)

Experience : Prior community site experience preferred

Other Qualifications : Experience with Epic EMR preferred

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Provide emergency medicine coverage in a single-coverage ED setting

Manage patients per shift, with seasonal increases to 25 patients

Deliver care across all age groups from neonates to geriatrics

Collaborate with available specialty and support staff including Ortho, Surgery, OB / GYN, CRNA, and Psych

Document all patient encounters accurately in Epic EMR
