Technical Design (Interiors-Seats)

Job Overview

We are seeking Technical Designers (Mid-Level or Senior) for our Seats Integration Team (SIT) positions in Everett, WA. The selected candidate will have a statement of work that spans the product lifecycle : supporting customer configuration development, supplier engagement, validating and verifying design requirements, integrating business needs, and supporting the product through the production and certification processes. As a member of the team, interface with other members of SIT project teams, production system, program / product teams, management, and other technical staff to define and implement engineering solutions.

Position Responsibilities

• Leads the development and maintenance of engineering product definition.
• Oversees the development of design layouts and the modification of existing designs to satisfy customer and production requirements.
• Develops engineering product definition based upon Company requirements and parameters.
• Coordinates development of engineering product definition with internal / external parties to ensure compliance with applicable standards, requirements and design parameters as well as product functionality.
• Integrates work statement, work scope and work transfer packages with internal and external customers to requirements.
• Oversees, directs and integrates the completion of product definition across internal and external business partners and products to provide a functional end-product.
• Investigates and resolves complex manufacturing process or engineering related issues.
• Verifies accuracy of engineering data produced by others.

Salary

Summary pay range for Mid Level (level 3) : $68,000 - $92,000

Summary pay range for Senior (level 4) : $80,750 - $109,250

Education

Associate's Degree or Equivalent Required
