Heavy Equipment Operator

Operates a variety of heavy equipment including backhoes, excavators, dozers, loaders, graders and trenchers.

Essential functions include :

• Representing the company with high moral standards while adhering to the company's code of business conduct and ethics.
• Supporting the company's commitment to safety and its core values.
• Performing loading and unloading of equipment and supplies.
• Precision positioning of equipment, lifting heavy machinery and components, as well as beams and lumber.
• Operating equipment to dig trenches and holes of specified length, depth, width and grade.
• Working around existing underground utilities and tight areas.
• Understanding shoring, soil classes and dewatering.
• Using equipment to remove loosened material and put in piles or transport trucks.
• Identifying and addressing safety hazards.
• Performing all other job-related duties as requested by supervision.

Hiring range : $33.17 to $61.24 per hour. Full range for this position, available over time : $33.17 to $61.24 per hour.
