Impact Lives as a Dialysis Care Technician!

As a Dialysis Care Technician at US Renal Care, you will play a vital role in our dedicated team, providing exceptional care and assistance to patients with renal failure. Under the supervision of a Registered Nurse or Charge Nurse, you will deliver high-quality dialysis treatment in a supportive and safe environment.

Your Responsibilities Include :

  • Direct Patient Care : Work closely with patients to ensure they receive safe, comfortable, and effective dialysis treatment. You'll monitor patient vitals pre-and post-treatment, initiate and conclude treatment sessions, and collect blood samples as instructed by physicians.
  • Technical Duties : Prepare and maintain dialysis machines for hemodialysis treatments. This includes cleaning and disinfecting equipment after use, conducting safety checks, and documenting all results to ensure compliance with quality standards.
  • Commitment to Safety and Quality : Adhere to strict safety measures while following all company policies, state, and federal regulations. Engage in ongoing education and attend required meetings to enhance your skills and knowledge.

Qualifications We Seek :

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • A passion for healthcare and a desire to make a difference in patients’ lives.
  • Experience in healthcare, especially in dialysis, phlebotomy, or as a CNA is a bonus.
  • Additional Requirements :

  • Completion of USRC training program approved by the Medical Director, demonstrating competency within 8 weeks of hire.
  • Successful finishing of a course in hemodialysis theory and practice within 8 weeks of hire.
  • CPR certification is required within 90 days of hire.
  • Must obtain Patient Care Technician certification from an accredited program within 18 months of hire and maintain it.
  • Ability to distinguish all primary colors is essential.
  • Comfortable with mixing acids and bicarbonate following established protocols.
