job_description.job_card.job_descriptionProvide litigation secretarial support to multiple attorneys across practice groups Handle heavy court filings (state, federal, and appellate), including e-filing and service of pleadings Draft, edit, proofread, and format legal documents, pleadings, memoranda, and correspondence under deadlines Track litigation deadlines and coordinate with docketing staff Manage attorney calendars, schedule depositions, hearings, and travel Maintain case files (paper and electronic) and prepare trial or working binders Support billing, time entry, expense reporting, and vendor invoices Serve as a professional point of contact with attorneys, staff, clients, and opposing counsel 5+ years of litigation legal secretary experience in a law firm environment Proficiency with MS Word, Outlook, Excel, and Adobe Acrobat / Power PDF (Office 365 a plus) Typing speed of 75+ WPM with high accuracy Familiarity with California and federal court rules and e-filing procedures Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple deadlines under pressure Excellent proofreading, grammar, and communication skills Professionalism, discretion, and a team-oriented approach
