Overview
The Quality Engineer is responsible for ensuring that products and manufacturing processes meet established quality standards and regulatory requirements. This role supports continuous improvement efforts, root cause analysis, corrective actions, and quality system compliance to maintain customer satisfaction and product reliability.

Openings in Peoria, Illinois and Roanoke, Illinois.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and maintain quality assurance standards, procedures, and documentation.
- Conduct inspections, audits, and process evaluations to ensure compliance with internal and external requirements.
- Perform root cause analysis and drive corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
- Support new product introductions by developing quality plans, FMEA, and control plans.
- Analyze data to identify trends, recommend improvements, and verify effectiveness of corrective actions.
- Work with suppliers to resolve quality issues and support supplier quality audits.
- Maintain calibration records and ensure testing equipment is properly maintained.
- Assist with internal and external audits, including ISO or customer-specific requirements.
- Collaborate with engineering, production, and management teams to improve processes and reduce defects.
- Prepare and present quality reports and metrics to management.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or related field (or equivalent experience).2-5 years of experience in quality engineering or manufacturing quality assurance.Knowledge of ISO 9001 or other quality management systems.Strong understanding of SPC, FMEA, PPAP, APQP, and control plans.Proficiency in root cause analysis tools such as 8D, 5 Whys, and Fishbone Diagrams.Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.Proficient in Microsoft Office and quality software (e.g., Minitab, Q-Pulse).ASQ Certification (CQE, CQA, or similar) preferred.Physical and Work Environment
Primarily office and manufacturing floor environment.Occasional lifting up to 25 lbs.Ability to stand or walk for extended periods when performing audits or inspections.All offers of employment are contingent upon successful completion of a negative drug screen, necessary functional fitness tests for position, and background check.
