What You'll Do :
- Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
- Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
- Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
- Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
- Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise
Responsibilities :
Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and participate in emergency response activities as appropriate.Respond to incidents and critical situations within the corrections environment in a calm and problem-solving manner.Conduct regular and random armed patrols around the facility and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and / or incidents.Monitor and report any unusual behavior, hazards, or security-related breaches in the corrections location.Maintain a visible presence to help to deter potential issues and provide reassurance to staff and visitors.Work collaboratively with staff and law enforcement as needed to address incidents or emergencies.Complete reports and documentation related to patrols, incidents, and other security-related activities as required by Allied Universal policies.What We're Looking For :

A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.Graduation from a law enforcement or military police training program or an equivalent is required.An armed guard card or license is required.A minimum of two years of law enforcement, military, or corrections experience is required.Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.Participate in industry-specific security training programs.Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.Why Join Us :
