Our client is a fast-growing online software and education company in the financial services space with a strong focus on innovation, customer experience, and industry-leading standards. They are seeking a Compliance Director to oversee and strengthen their compliance program, ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements while supporting business growth.

Job Description

Reporting into the firm's C-suite and ownership structure, the Compliance Director will :

• Analyze internal business systems, procedures, and policies to ensure compliance with industry regulations and ethical standards
• Develop, update, and implement company-wide policies
• Oversee and coordinate work with external compliance consultants
• Advise on and implement procedures for GDPR, CCPA, and other state / country-level privacy regulations
• Serve as an in-house legal advisor to the customer support team on sensitive communications
• Educate employees on compliance with relevant laws and regulations
• Manage litigation and coordinate with external legal counsel when necessary

Whilst this role will be mostly REMOTE, the successful candidate will be required to travel into the office in Western MA on a regular basis, so a proximity to Western, MA, is required (non-negotiable).
