American Traveler is seeking a travel nurse RN Med Surg / Telemetry for a travel nursing job in Kingsport, Tennessee.

Job Description\n

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Med / Surg unit with MS / Tele experience and willingness to float.

\n \n Responsibilities\n

  • Hospital-based Med / Surg unit
  • Cares for adult medical-surgical patients, including telemetry cases
  • Patient ratio is 1 : 7
  • Night shift schedule, 3x12 hour shifts (18 : 30-07 : 00)
  • Required to work every other weekend
  • Floating to other units as needed
  • No on-call responsibilities
  • Responsible for participating in clinical education and supporting nursing students in addition to providing patient care
  • General orientation begins on Sundays with online learning modules
  • Scrub color and holiday coverage requirements not specified

  • Active TN or compact RN license required at time of consideration
  • Minimum of 2 years recent Med / Surg and Tele experience required
  • AHA BLS certification required
  • First time travelers are accepted
  • Must reside at least 100 miles from the facility
