Reporter – New York Cannabis Insider

We are looking for a passionate storyteller to cover New York’s emerging multibillion‑dollar cannabis industry. The role is based in Syracuse, but you may work from any location within New York State.

In The Role, Expect To

• Juggle narratives, break news, write trend analysis pieces, assemble panels of industry experts and moderate monthly live events
• Keep a constant eye on Albany and key government oversight agencies in the cannabis space
• Become a respected and reliable source of information for New York’s cannabis insiders
• Participate in NYCI conferences and events
• Maintain an "equity mindset" by holding government and businesses accountable to the social equity provisions in the state's cannabis law
