FLSA Status : Non-Exempt. Shift : 2nd shift 3 : 00PM to 11 : 30PM. Employment Category : Full Time - Regular. Travel : None.
Base pay range : $21.00 / hr - $25.00 / hr

Responsibilities
- Operate and maintain downstream secondary packaging equipment.
- Replenish raw materials on automated packaging equipment.
- Respond to stoppages on secondary packaging equipment; conduct troubleshooting, jam clearing, and cleaning.
- Perform changeovers on secondary packaging equipment and assist with changeovers on primary packaging equipment.
- Conduct quality checks on secondary packages (lot coding and aesthetics).
- Assist machine operator with quality checks on primary packages (lot coding, aesthetics, and seal integrity).
- Track output from palletizing equipment and respond to jams.
- Operate the supersack loading station.
- Adhere to safety guidelines and reinforce safe practices with the team.
- Maintain product quality through good manufacturing practices, Food Safety Preventative Controls, and quality procedures; monitor and document quality measures using analytical tools.
- Support food safety, legality, and quality programs; perform other duties as needed to support business objectives and Evolution Fresh Mission & Values.
- Maintain regular and consistent attendance and punctuality.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
High School diploma / GED or equivalent experience.Production or distribution environment experience (1 year).Operation of manual and automated packaging equipment (1 year).Additional Required Qualifications
Basic math skills.Ability to follow verbal direction.Proficiency in Microsoft Windows and internet environments.Mechanical aptitude to make minor machine adjustments and clear jams in equipment.Ability to perform quality tests using analytical tools.Ability to gather and record operational and quality metrics.Ability to understand written policies, guidelines, specifications, and safety standards.Ability to work with a diverse team and in accordance with safety, quality, and sanitation standards, policies, and procedures.Ability to work variable shifts to support business needs.Preferred Qualifications
Experience performing quality tests using analytical tools.Troubleshooting skills.Familiarity with food safety regulatory requirements and global standards (e.g., Preventive Controls for Human Food, GFSI, BRC and / or SQF).Physical Demands
