Contract Duration : 12 weeks

Weekly Hours : 36

Shifts :

10-hour and 12-hour shifts; 60 hours of physician coverage daily

Annual Patient Volume :

65,000 emergency visits

2 locum tenens emergency medicine physicians

Estimated Weekly Salary :

$5,780–$6,850

Emergency Medicine Physician Qualifications

Board certified or board eligible in Emergency Medicine (ABEM or AOBEM)

Current ATLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required

Eligible for Missouri medical license

Experience working in busy ER or trauma center settings

Minimum 1 year of clinical experience in emergency medicine

Emergency Medicine Physician Responsibilities

Deliver high-quality emergency care in a Level II Trauma Center

Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams, including advanced practice providers and subspecialists

Manage diverse patient populations with acute medical and trauma conditions

Provide care in both the Rapid Care Unit and main emergency department

Ensure accurate and timely documentation of patient care
