Job Overview :

Key Responsibilities :

\n \n

  • Assess, monitor, and treat patients with respiratory conditions using advanced respiratory therapy techniques and equipment.\n
  • Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement effective treatment plans.\n
  • Administer ventilator support, oxygen therapy, and aerosol treatments as prescribed.\n
  • Conduct patient evaluations, document findings, and maintain accurate records in compliance with hospital policies.\n
  • Ensure patient safety and comfort throughout all procedures, adhering to infection control and safety standards.\n
  • Educate patients and families on respiratory therapies and management plans to promote understanding and compliance.\n
  • \n\n

    What You Bring : \n \n

  • Proven experience as a Respiratory Therapist in a healthcare setting.\n
  • Strong knowledge of respiratory care protocols, equipment, and emergency response procedures.\n
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with diverse patient populations and healthcare teams.\n
  • Ability to remain calm and focused in critical situations.\n
  • Flexibility to work night shifts and adapt to a dynamic environment.\n
  • \n\n

    Preferred Education & Experience :

    \n \n

  • Associate degree or higher in Respiratory Therapy or a related healthcare field. \n
  • Previous experience in a hospital setting is highly preferred.\n
  • Experience with ventilator management and high-acuity patient care is advantageous.\n
  • \n\n

    Licenses & Certifications :

    \n \n

  • Licensed Respiratory Therapist (RT) in the state of practice. \n
  • Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) or Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) from the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC).\n
  • BLS (Basic Life Support) certification. \n
  • Additional certifications such as ACLS or PALS are a plus. \n
