Family Practice - Geriatrics Physician

We re currently seeking a Board-Certified Family Medicine or Internal Medicine physician for a locum tenens opportunity at a high-volume, well-established private practice in Fairfield, NJ , with occasional coverage at a nearby satellite location in East Rutherford.

Position Highlights :

Start Date : ASAP

Setting : Outpatient Private Practice

Schedule : Monday Friday; no weekends or call

Volume : adult / geriatric patients per day

Team : 2 physicians on-site; no supervision required

EMR : AthenaHealth

️ Key Procedures / Skills Required :

General : EKG Interpretation

Minor Procedures : I&D, Minor Laceration Suturing

Occupational Health : Employment Physicals, Disability Exams, Diagnosis of Work-Related Conditions

Practice Perks :

On-site Radiology & Lab

Supportive clinical staff

Travel limited to local area only (reimbursement for mileage only)

Requirements :

Board Certified in FM or IM

Active NJ License

Horizon BCBS In-Network (Outpatient-specific) MUST include confirmation with submission

BLS Certification

Local candidates only

Preferred (Not Required) :

Recent outpatient experience in NJ

Familiarity with AthenaHealth EMR
