Genesis Design Center - Studio Engineer
WHAT YOU WILL DO
- Design and engineering body structure, advanced packaging for concept programs.
- Understand the requirements and create feasibility studies based on the US Designs.
- Foster communication between the Engineering Department in Korea and the US Design Team.
- Find solutions to help Designers meet the production program engineering requirements.
- Coordinated with the Studio, completing feasibility studies for interior trim and seating.
- Create Design Guides for the Studio considering design needs and package requirements.
- Resolve design feasibility issues alongside the designers for all studio programs.
- Analyze concepts through both 3D digital simulation and physical prototypes.
- Study and be aware of New Technologies / Structures that could be implemented into Design proposals.
- Research new developments in : Platform, Engineering & Emerging Technology that could influence the Design of future cars.
- Proficient in CATIA V5 generating surface data.
- Candidates should be willing to participate in a CATIA V5 evaluation that will last about 1 hour.
