job_description.job_card.job_descriptionMonitor and control access points to help to deter unauthorized entry within the retail location. Verify credentials and / or identification of individuals entering or exiting the premises. Provide customer service by assisting visitors and responding to inquiries in a professional manner. Carry out security-related procedures and follow site-specific policies as directed by Allied Universal and client requirements. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner. Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter to help to deter suspicious activity and report any irregularities. Document and report all security-related incidents, hazards, and / or unusual occurrences according to established protocols. Assist with emergency response activities as needed, following established procedures for the retail environment. Availability across various days and shifts Reliability and ability to adapt to different post assignments A desire to gain broad experience and grow within the company Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred. Customer service experience is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. Job Description
As a Security Officer - Retail Access Control in Salisbury, NC , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail / Malls, and more.
As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal at a retail or mall location, you will monitor entrances, conduct routine patrols, and help to deter security-related incidents through your visible presence. You will interact with visitors and staff, providing exceptional customer service and clear communication while maintaining access protocols. What You'll Do :
Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
- Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
- Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
- Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
- Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise
