Curriculum Writer Consultant - Educators Rising

Educators Rising is seeking experienced and passionate education professionals to join our pool of curriculum writer consultants. We are looking for individuals with a strong foundation in curriculum development and instructional design, who have a commitment to empowering future educators. Consultants will participate in an orientation to become proficient in the Educators Rising Curriculum Standards and frameworks. Upon successful completion, they will join a pool of consultants eligible for project-based work as it may become available related to their demonstrated areas of expertise and experience, including lesson writing, resource development, and / or assessment creation.

Subject matter experts are needed in the following areas : High Leverage Teaching Practices, Classroom Management, Assessment Development, Lesson Planning, Special Education, Multilingual Education, Career & Technical Education, Education Administration, and Education Technology.

RESPONSIBILITIES :

Potential projects may include the following :

• Curriculum Development : Contribute to the development of high-quality, engaging, and standards-aligned curriculum materials.
• Resource Creation : Develop supplementary resources such as handouts, worksheets, and digital tools to support curriculum implementation.
• Assessment Design : Create formative and summative assessments to measure student learning outcomes and program effectiveness.
• Curriculum Standards Proficiency : Demonstrate a deep understanding of the Educators Rising Curriculum Standards and frameworks.
• Collaboration : Work effectively as part of a team to achieve project goals and deadlines.

COMPENSATION :

This is a contract position with PDK International starting at $40 per hour for project-based work. Hours will vary based on assigned projects.

Applicants that are selected to move forward in the process will be asked to participate in a 1-hour group interview and to complete a performance task to be considered for the Curriculum Writer contract position.

Note : This is a pool-based position. Successful candidates will be considered for project-based work as opportunities arise.
