WCS Healthcare is currently seeking a Operating Room Nurse for a 13-week contract assignment at a Prestigious Hospital in Bridgeport, CT.\n\nJob Function\n

• Day Shift.\n
• 5x8.\n
• Records all care information concisely, accurately and completely, in a timely manner, in the facility EMR.\n
• Preps operating room for patient / procedure and assists other staff in breaking down the room.\n
• Assists in positioning, responding to comfort / safety of patient.\n
• Provides for accurate care and handling of specimens.\n
• Initiates corrective actions whenever needed.\n\nJob Requirements\n
• Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing or Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN).\n
• Current RN license for the state of Connecticut.\n
• 2 years of acute care experience in this specialty.\n
• BLS, ACLS and PALS certifications from the American Heart Association.\n
• Fetal Monitoring Certificate Preferred.\n
