Description

  • Conduct evaluations in both inpatient and outpatient settings while crafting personalized treatment plans
  • Implement physical therapy interventions concentrating on mobility, strength, balance, and overall function
  • Collaborate with nurses, physicians, case managers, and fellow rehabilitation professionals for optimal patient outcomes
  • Provide education to patients and their families concerning therapeutic objectives, discharge plans, and at-home exercises
  • Document evaluations, treatments, and progress diligently in alignment with facility policies and regulations
  • Engage in interdisciplinary team rounds and conferences to ensure cohesive patient care

Education

  • A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) or an equivalent degree from an accredited institution
  • Certifications

  • Valid state licensure as a Physical Therapist
  • Preferred CPR certification
  • Additional certifications in specialized areas (such as neurological or geriatric) are a plus but not mandatory
  • Skills

  • Previous experience is highly preferred
