American Traveler is seeking a CT / Radiology Technologist for dual modality imaging on weekend night shifts with ARRT (R)(CT) and BLS certifications required.
\n \n Responsibilities\n
Work in a high-volume hospital with 182 licensed beds and Level IV Trauma designationDual modality CT and diagnostic X-ray imaging across ED, inpatient, and outpatient settingsHandles a wide range of patient diagnoses and acuity levelsAverage of 325 patients per day across imaging modalitiesNight shift schedule : Thursday through Saturday, 8 : 00 PM to 8 : 00 AMThis is a weekend position, with all weekends scheduledSchedule cycle renews every 4 weeksHoliday coverage required for 75% of holidaysUses Siemens and GE imaging equipmentEPIC is used for EMR / documentation; previous experience with EPIC preferredRadius rule : Traveler’s permanent address must be at least 50 miles from the assigned unitFree parking providedResponsible for performing both CT and diagnostic radiology procedures as required per modalityOrientation includes online courses and 3-5 days of departmental training based on modalitySupport available from nursing and patient transport departmentsDepartment fosters a culture of teamwork and accountability for patient-centered careBlack scrubs requiredFirst-time travelers are accepted for considerationCall and weekend requirements may vary by modality and are discussed during interviewAll requests for time off must be approved by the manager\n \n Requirements\n
Active ARRT (R)(CT) certification and current BLS requiredMinimum 1 year of recent experience in diagnostic radiology and CT imagingExperience performing imaging in hospital settings including ED, inpatient, and outpatientMust provide photo ID during compliance processLicense required if applicableSkills checklist relevant to CT and radiology must be completedMust provide a professional reference from leadership within the last year\n Benefits\n
