As a Security Professional- Unarmed Cultural Patrols in Dallas, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Cultural Institutions, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a cultural institution location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help create a secure environment for visitors and staff. Your visible presence will help to deter security-related incidents, while your commitment to exceptional customer service and clear communication will foster a welcoming atmosphere. Pay Rate : $22.05 / Hour

Job Schedule : DayTime

Tue 03 : 00 PM - 11 : 00 PM

Wed 03 : 00 PM - 11 : 00 PM

Thur 03 : 00 PM - 11 : 00 PM

Fri 03 : 00 PM - 11 : 00 PM

Sat 03 : 00 PM - 11 : 00 PM

What You'll Do :

  • Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
  • Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
  • Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
  • Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
  • Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities :

  • Provide customer service to clients and guests by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, as well as emergency response activities when appropriate.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify potential concerns.
  • Observe and report any unusual activity, hazards, or maintenance issues within the location.
  • Assist visitors and staff with directions, information, and general support as needed.
  • Maintain detailed and accurate logs of patrols, incidents, and other security-related activities as required by Allied Universal and client protocols.
  • Work collaboratively with other Allied Universal personnel and location staff to help to maintain a welcoming and secure environment for all guests and employees.

  • Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available

    • Minimum Requirements :

  • Have at least 5 years of security-related experience or 3 or more years of combined law enforcement, military, or security-related experience, or possess a college degree.
  • CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
