Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Quality Control Warehouse Associate to join our team. This role is responsible for inspecting and verifying outgoing orders to ensure they are accurate, properly labeled, and packaged according to company standards. The associate will support quality assurance efforts, assist in identifying and preventing recurring issues, and work closely with management to maintain a high standard of order accuracy and presentation.

Primary Responsibilities :

  • Ensure orders that come off the quality control line are inspected for proper count, labelled correctly and packaged in a presentable manner per the order number.
  • Ensure all items are dimensioned properly.
  • Work with management to identify opportunities to minimize any quality control issues from re-occurring.
  • Assist in filling out the tracking mechanism for mis-picks, short picks or quality issues.

Secondary Responsibilities :

  • Be familiar with packing stations and our conveyor line, to ensure the pack stations are not backed up and the boxes on the conveyor are moving fluidly.
  • Operate a handheld to pick product, as needed, or as required by management.
  • Be willing to train and certify on a pallet rider or other equipment, as needed, or required by management.
  • Be willing to work with our inventory team, as well as 2nd shift management, to identify and fix any quality control issues identified.
  • Minimum Job Requirements :

  • Minimum High school diploma
  • Knowledge of Oracle and Fascor (WMS) a plus.
  • Previous warehouse experience and / or Warehouse Management Software required.
  • Quality Control experience a plus
  • Assist in maintaining standard operating procedures.
  • Work standing on their feet for 8+ hours every day or more.
  • Have the ability to lift up to 60 pounds.
  • Have the ability to read, identify, and comprehend alphanumeric part number schemes up to 30 characters long.
  • Have the ability to clearly communicate.
  • Possess basic computer skills.
  • Be a team builder and a team player.
