Travel Echo Technologist - $2,092 per week

Prime Time Healthcare is seeking a travel Echo Technologist for a travel job in Lewiston, Maine. Job Description & Requirements Specialty : Echo Technologist Discipline : Allied Health Professional Start Date : 12 / 16 / 2025 Duration : 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift : 12 hours Employment Type : Travel Job Duties Perform a full range of echocardiographic procedures, including 2D, M-mode, color Doppler, spectral Doppler, and stress echocardiograms. Conduct studies on adult and geriatric patients, evaluating cardiac structure and function for diagnostic interpretation. Prepare detailed reports of findings and measurements for physician review. Perform transthoracic and, as applicable, transesophageal echocardiograms (TEE) and stress echocardiograms following standard protocols. Maintain and calibrate ultrasound equipment to ensure optimal performance and image quality. Collaborate with cardiologists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure quality patient care and timely results. Provide patient education regarding test procedures and ensure patient comfort and safety throughout the exam. May float to other departments within the cardiovascular service line to meet operational needs. Maintain compliance with hospital, departmental, and safety standards. Required Qualifications Completion of an accredited Cardiac or Cardiovascular Sonography program. Active certification as RDCS (Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer) or RCS (Registered Cardiac Sonographer). Current BLS certification. Minimum of 2 years of recent echocardiography experience in a hospital or clinical setting. Proficiency with echocardiographic imaging techniques and cardiac measurements. Strong understanding of cardiac anatomy, physiology, and pathology. Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment and adapt to varying patient acuity levels.
