Float requirement is rare, but candidates must be willing to float to nearby facilities as needed.

Description :

This position is for a registered nurse specializing in emergency room care.

The nurse will work night shifts consisting of 12 hours each.

The minimum experience required is one year in travel nursing.

ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, PALS, and TNCC certifications are necessary for this role.

The nurse will care for patients of all age groups, from neonates to geriatrics.

Daily census in the unit averages around 150 patients.

Patient ratios will typically be around four patients per nurse.

Interdisciplinary support is provided by various services including respiratory, radiology, and pharmacy.

The ability to perform under pressure in a fast-paced environment is essential.

Candidates should possess skills related to critical care and trauma management.

Floating among different units within the facility or to affiliate hospitals may be required.

All travelers must comply with facility policies and procedures.
