Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a CVICU night shift position requiring recent cardiovascular ICU experience and an active nursing license.

Responsibilities

\n

  • Position is in a Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit setting
  • Night shifts from 7 : 00 PM to 7 : 00 AM
  • Works with critically ill cardiovascular patients
  • Blocked scheduling may be allowed depending on facility needs
  • Requested time off up to 5 days is permitted but must be made up during the contract
  • Local candidates within 50 miles are eligible with rate adjustment
  • Subcontractor staff within 50 miles can complete up to 3 consecutive 13-week contracts before a 1-year separation from the facility is required or must transition to a site outside the 50-mile radius
  • Must provide all required licensure and documentation prior to starting assignment

    Requirements

  • Active RN license required at the time of consideration
  • Minimum of 1 year recent experience in cardiovascular ICU
  • No gaps in employment exceeding 90 days within the past 12 months
  • No certifications expiring within the first 30 days of assignment unless renewal is documented
  • Valid U.S. Social Security Number required; Canadian SINs are not accepted
