Associate / Full Professor Operations and Supply Chain Management
Position Summary :
The Crummer Graduate School of Business at Rollins College invites applications for a tenure-track faculty position at the rank of Associate or Full Professor beginning in August 2026. We are seeking a seasoned educator and thought leader who combines a strong academic foundation with a passion for shaping practice-oriented insights for today's business leaders.
This is not a traditional operations management role. We are looking for someone who brings a systems-thinking perspective to operations - helping leaders understand how operational choices create second- and third-order effects across interconnected value chains, organizations, and societies. We are particularly interested in candidates exploring technology's evolving role in operations - ranging from business analytics and automation to AI-enabled decision-making, including how large language models and domain-specific AI shape operational resilience and performance.
While this position emphasizes practical impact and executive education, we remain an AACSB-accredited institution with high standards for research productivity. Candidates must have a distinguished record of publishing in peer-reviewed academic journals as well as demonstrated excellence in teaching. However, this role is ideal for a scholar who has excelled in traditional academic research and MBA teaching and is now seeking to broaden their focus toward executive education, applied research, and practitioner-oriented thought leadership - in short, changing the mix of academic activity to balance rigor with greater practice impact.
We especially welcome candidates who :
