Description :

Occupational Therapist for general acute care.

Position in outpatient setting with a 5x8 schedule.

No weekend requirements or on-call duties.

This role focuses on working with adult patients.

Special considerations include treatment for arthritis, cognitive assessments, stroke rehabilitation, and discharge planning.

Experience in functional activities and standardized assessments is preferred.

Candidates are expected to have skills in patient evaluation and rehabilitation techniques.

This position involves working in a rural hospital setting.

Holiday work may be required as needed.

Candidates must not live within 50 miles of the facility.

No time off is allowed within the first week of the assignment.

All requests for time off should be specified upon submission.

Vaccination for COVID-19 is required, with provisions for medical or religious exemptions.

All travelers must comply with fingerprinting and lab requirements within specified timeframes.

A maximum of 7 days of time off is permitted during the assignment.

Additional care responsibilities may include handling cases like joint replacements and managing soft tissue injuries.

This position does not accept local candidates within 50 miles of the facility.
