Private Duty Home Health Aide (HHA / CNA)

Pay Range : $16$18 per hour, based on experience and case needs Flexible schedules and weekly pay
About the Role
Centria caregivers provide essential in-home support to help individuals remain safe, comfortable, and independent. You'll work one-on-one with clients in a private home setting, supporting their unique care needs.
Responsibilities
- Assist with mobility and transfers to prevent falls
- Provide basic personal care, including hygiene, toileting, and dressing
- Monitor and assist with oxygen therapy as needed
- Prepare light snacks or drinks upon request
- Offer companionship and emotional reassurance throughout the shift
- Assist in positioning and turning to prevent discomfort
- Document and report changes in client condition promptly
- Respond to emergencies following proper procedures
- Perform duties as outlined in the patient's plan of care
- Monitor client's physical and mental condition, intake / output, and exercise
- Maintain a safe, clean, and healthy care environment
- Follow professional standards, care policies, and local / state / federal requirements
Qualifications
CNA, HHA, or equivalent experience in home care preferredExperience working with fall-risk and mobility-impaired clients strongly desiredMust be comfortable assisting with personal care tasksReliable, patient, and attentive to individual needsComfortable working in a private home settingAbility to work independently and follow a care planStrong oral and written communication skillsAbility to follow verbal and written instructionsComfortable using tablets / computers for documentationStrong attention to detail and ability to follow all care protocolsAbility to address minor medical concerns as they ariseDocumentation Requirements
