Warehouse - Shop Manager Plumbing & Construction
Clearwater, FL | Full-Time | Plumbing / Construction Industry
We're seeking a hands-on, organized Warehouse - Shop Manager to lead daily operations across our warehouse, shop, and yard. This critical role ensures inventory accuracy, tool and fleet management, order fulfillment, and efficient support to field crews. If you're a proactive problem-solver with warehouse leadership experienceespecially in plumbing or constructionwe want to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities :
- Oversee day-to-day operations of the warehouse, shop, and yard
- Receive, inspect, store, and track plumbing materials, tools, and equipment
- Maintain inventory accuracy using software systems and regular cycle counts (training in software provided)
- Pick, pack, and ship orders to job sites and restock returned materials
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, scissor lifts, and other equipment
- Coordinate with purchasing, project management, and accounting teams
- Prepare RFQs, track vendor pricing, and make purchasing recommendations
- Schedule fleet and equipment maintenance and handle repair tracking
- Ensure safety protocols and cleanliness across all warehouse areas
- Deliver materials / tools to job sites as needed using company vehicles
- Assist with processing POs, invoices, and tool tracking documentation
- Supervise warehouse staff and help train new team members
- Load / unload trucks and maintain organized storage areas
