Position Title : Iron Worker

Location : Wichita, KS

Salary Range : $22.00 - $28.00

Position Description :

Iron Worker Responsibilities and Qualifications :

  • Ability to erect steel structure including : columns, beams, bar joists, and decking
  • Ability to erect pre-cast panels
  • Experience using oxy-acetylene torch
  • Ability to work at ease at elevated heights

Position Requirements :

Iron Worker Physical Requirements :

  • Must be able to lift 50 pounds or greater occasionally and 25-50 pounds frequently
  • Must be able to work outdoors and stand for majority of the day
  • Must be able to perform tasks while walking, climbing, bending, kneeling, crouching, reaching, and handling

    • Additional responsibilities will be assigned based on experience and performance.

    • Other considerations :

  • All offers of employment are conditioned by successfully passing a background check, drug screen and physical capacity test
  • Wages are based on experience and performance
  • Must be able to work outside the normal operating hours (7am-4pm, winter / fall 7am-3 : 30pm, spring / summer)
  • Employees are responsible for transportation to and from the job site

    • The following tools must be provided by the candidate :

  • Tool Bag (Includes Framing Hammer - Min 16oz., 25' Tape Measure, Nail Bag, Nail Puller, Quick Square, Utility Knife)
