Estimated Starting Salary Range : USD $127,650.00 / Yr. - USD $185,000.00 / Yr. Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.
Description
Maintaining and troubleshooting SSEE INC-F / E and MODS Systems
- Providing technical support and performing ongoing maintenance for SSEE systems
- Serving as a point of contact for projects involving modern software development practices and industry-standard SDLC methodologies
- Installing and configuring tools for Application Lifecycle Management (ALM), Continuous Integration / Continuous Deployment (CI / CD), and continuous monitoring
- Designing, implementing, and maintaining DevSecOps practices for secure, on-premises deployments
- Working closely with engineers, analysts, and government personnel to ensure project requirements and objectives are fully met
- Demonstrating strong teamwork and excellent customer service skills in both internal and external interactions
- Engaging with third-party vendors to integrate new capabilities
- Overseeing technical design, implementation, interface documentation, and baseline updates required for capability acceptance
- Integrating a range of COTS, GOTS, and open-source applications into existing RHEL and CentOS environments

Requirements
Requires an active DoD TS / SCI security clearanceBachelor's degree in a STEM or related field, or equivalent practical experience10 or more years of supporting DoD / Navy enterprise systemsThree or more years of professional experience in computer design, software development, or computer networksTwo or more years in a systems engineering or software engineering roleOne or more years working in Agile / Scrum development environmentsFamiliarity with programming languages such as C, C++, and JavaAbility to develop algorithms, analyze problems, and implement solutionsCapable of researching, designing, developing, and testing both hardware and software systemsWorking knowledge of VMware vCenter and / or other virtualization platformsExperience with scripting languages such as Ansible, PowerShell, Bash, JavaScript, or equivalentSecurity+ certification required, or must be obtained within 6 months of hireDemonstrated ability to work with classified information and operate within secure environments, adhering to strict security protocolsStrong organizational and communication abilitiesProven ability to collaborate across functional teams and manage technical coordination effectivelyDesired Skills
Direct experience with Navy NIWC PAC or NIWC LANT initiativesFamiliarity with integration workflows and system engineering processesKnowledge of the SSEE-Family of Systems and Mission Module Integration SystemsProficiency with Bitbucket, Jenkins, Artifactory, Confluence, and related toolchainsStrongly preferred experience with tactical waveform development and implementation in software-defined radio (SDR) systemsFamiliarity with DoD T&E processes, including test planning, execution, and data analysisUnderstanding of software development regulations and data rights under the DoD acquisition frameworkHands-on experience across the entire SDLC, to include requirements, design, coding, testing, and deploymentProficiency in languages used for GPPs, DSPs, and FPGAs is highly desirableSkilled in analyzing specifications, ensuring development of high-quality, portable, and reusable software componentsStrong administrative, communication, leadership, planning, and problem-solving abilitiesFamiliarity with DoD knowledge management tools, such as Flank Speed and SharePointUnderstanding of military communication systems and protocols, particularly for technical documentation and support rolesClearance Information
