The Digital Marketing Coordinator supports the mission and strategy of Creative Flagstaff by managing and growing the organization’s digital presence while also contributing to positive guest experiences at Coconino Center for the Arts (CCA). This part-time role is primarily responsible for social media content creation and scheduling, e-newsletter development and distribution, and maintaining the organization’s websites. The Coordinator also assists with exhibitions, events, and provides front desk coverage to ensure visitors have a welcoming and engaging experience.
Digital Marketing & Outreach (65%)
- Develop and manage a social media content calendar aligned with exhibitions, programs, and campaigns.
- Draft, design, and post engaging content across social platforms (e.g., Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok).
- Write and distribute regular e-newsletters, announcements, and automated campaigns.
- Maintain and update Creative Flagstaff and CCA websites to ensure timely, accurate, and visually compelling content.
- Track analytics for social media, email, and web engagement; prepare reports and recommendations for staff and board.
- Collaborate with staff on digital campaigns to support exhibitions, programs, and fundraising initiatives.
Guest Experience & Front Desk (15%)
Oversee and maintain the CCA front desk during gallery hours and events.Provide engaging information about exhibitions, programs, and events to ensure a positive visitor experience.Drive merchandise, membership, and concessions sales; operate point-of-sale systems accurately.Maintain a professional, welcoming, and visitor-focused environment.Exhibition & Event Support (15%)
Assist staff with exhibition and event preparation; art handling and gallery installation support.Provide on-site support during events and programs, which may include greeting guests, assisting artists, or helping with volunteers.Ensure the lobby and gallery spaces remain visitor-ready and visually appealing.Team Collaboration & Reporting (5%)
Share digital performance insights in staff meetings and assist with communications planning.Contribute to cross-departmental initiatives and provide support for other staff as needed.Requirements

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Strong writing, editing, and digital content creation skills.Proficiency with social media platforms and scheduling tools (e.g., Later, Meta Business Suite).Experience with website management (WordPress) and basic SEO.Familiarity with CRM / email platforms for newsletters and automations.Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, or similar design tools.Excellent communication and customer service skills with a visitor-first approach.Ability to balance independent digital work with in-person guest service responsibilities.Strong organizational, time management, and collaboration skills.Education
Associate or Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, or related field preferred. Equivalent professional experience considered.
Experience

Work is generally performed in an indoor professional office environment.Position requires flexibility of scheduled work hours which may include evening and weekend hours for meetings and events inside and outside of the organization.COVID-19 : All staff are required to be fully vaccinated, as defined by the CDC, against COVID-19.
